Two-on-two read. Ball-handler reads the screen defender's coverage and chooses: reject, snake, or pull-up. The screener reads the same coverage and either rolls hard or pops.
Ball-handler reads:
• Hedge (defender steps high) → reject the screen, attack the empty side.
• Drop (defender stays low) → use the screen, pull up at the elbow.
• Switch → attack the mismatch immediately.
Screener reads:
• Hedge → roll hard, your defender is two steps behind.
• Drop → pop to the elbow for the pass back.
• Add a tagger (low man) to teach the lob/skip read.
• Live 3v3 with a corner shooter to stress the rotation.
• Restrict ball-handler to one read per possession.
